January tends to be a busy month for John and Russ, which means that Battle of the Bards will go on its usual hiatus until February 20, 2009. We wish you all the best for the holiday season, and look forward to seeing you in the new year!

Hi all,
Due to the snowstorm, we’ve decided to cancel tonight’s Battle of the Bards. It’s disappointing, but it’s also best if everyone stays inside and off the roads while the plows do their work.
John and I thank all of you for a great year of Bards, and are already looking forward to our next show in February 2009!

A major storm is forecasted to start on Friday morning that will dump 15-20cm of snow on Kitchener-Waterloo over the course of the day. With this in mind, John and I will send out an update at 4pm on Friday afternoon, indicating whether or not Battle of the Bards will go ahead.
If you aren’t able to check after 4pm, you can call my cell to find out our decision: 519-635-7877. We very much hope to hold the show, since it’s the last Bards of the year, but everyone’s safety is a much higher priority.
We hope to see some of you tomorrow, and wish all of you a safe and happy holiday season!
